I officially started cosplaying in South Korea in late 2014 with a closet cosplay of Kaya Satozuka from Midnight Secretary. It was a nervous but exciting experience and I've been hooked ever since. My sewing experience, however, extends back further to 2003 when I became involved in creating historical costumes for high school events. I began experimenting with photography and Photoshop around the same time.

I moved back to the US in 2016 where I caught the competition bug with my entry in Hoshicon 2016 where I won 2nd place for beginner. I plan to enter many more competitions and hope to one day compete at the international level.

I combined photography with cosplay before 2016 but it was just for casual fun. However once I moved back to the US I noticed the lack of easy access to good quality photos and photographers and wished to fill that need. Since then I've been shooting at most conventions I attend. It's a fun way to meet other cosplayers.
